University for Development Studies offers a wide range of Allied Health Sciences programmes. Applicants who wish to study any Allied Health Sciences programme at UDS must make a decision of interest. The School of Allied Health Sciences admits qualified persons into full-time and/or top-up Bachelor of Education programmes. Here is a list of all Undergraduate Programmes offered by the institution.

Applicants who wish to apply for Allied Health Sciences Programme at UDS must take note of the following:

  • 4-Year BSc (Community Nutrition)
  • 4-Year BSc Medical Imaging Technology)
  • 6-Year Doctor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS.D)

UDS Admission Requirements

a. 4-Year BSc (Community Nutrition)

(This is a science-based programme for WASSCE holders). Home Economics candidates are also eligible to apply.

b. 4-Year BSc Medical Imaging Technology)

(This is a science-based programme for WASSCE holders). Home Economics candidates are not  eligible to apply.

c. 6-Year Doctor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS.D)

Applicants to the 6-Year Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science (MLS.D) degree must have Credit in the THREE WASSCE core subjects: English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science plus credits in THREE WASSCE electives: Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics).
