CoHK: BSc. Community Mental Health Requirements

Below include the details of all the requirements for BSc. Community Mental Health, a programme offered by the College of Health and Well-Being, Kintampo. This programme is offered for four (4) years.

BSC. COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH

Here are the entry requirements for BSc. Community Mental Health:

For WASSCE Holders

  • AGE: 16 – 35 years
  • Core Subjects and Minimum Grades: AT LEAST credits (A1-C6) in three core subjects that is English, Mathematics and Integrated Science.
  • Elective Subjects and Minimum Grades: AT LEAST passes (A1-C6) in three Elective subjects.
  • OVERALL AGGREGATE: A cutoff aggregate score of Thirty Six (36) or better in six subjects, comprising of three (3) core and three (3) electives.

For SSSCE Holder

  • AGE: 16 – 35 years
  • Core Subjects and Minimum Grades: AT LEAST credits (A-D) in three (3) core subjects that is English, Mathematics and Integrated Science.
  • Elective Subjects and Minimum Grades: AT LEAST passes (A-D) in three Elective subjects including the following: General Science, Home Economics (Food and Nutrition option) and Agricultural Science (excluding crop and animal husbandry).
  • OVERALL AGGREGATE: A cutoff aggregate score of Thirty (24) or better in six subjects, comprising of three (3) core and three (3) electives.

NB: Foreign students may be considered for admission if they hold qualification equivalent to those stated above and prove that they are proficient in English. Equivalent qualifications include; A-levels, High School Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree in Science (BSc.)
